I’m kind of freaking out right now and not really sure where to turn or what to do in this case, so I’m hoping someone here may have some advice on how to proceed...
Last week, while my SO was at her place, she had a couple of weird happenings. She had walked to the bathroom in the middle of the night and felt the air completely change, like an eerie feeling. She then went to go lay back down and her iHome’s backlight was completely illuminated with the timezone changed, but she always keeps it on the lowest setting.
Last night, she got home after work and her back door blinds had been slightly moved so you could see into the apartment more, but we had been laying near there the night before and had fully closed them. She felt weird about that so she went over to my place, and while looking for my TV remote in my living room (I was in bed already sleeping at the time) my Switch just randomly turned on and then turned off a handful of seconds later (I haven’t used my switch in a few months). About 15 seconds after that, she had found the remote and was already watching TV, and a couple of my wall art pieces just turned on by themselves. They’re battery powered and require a remote to turn on.
Obviously this freaked her out so she came running into the room to get me, but I really don’t know what to do or say at this point. I’m freaking out myself but trying not to so she won’t get anymore scared.
I tried googling stuff and found that a low battery may cause electronics to turn on, so that may explain the art. I read an article where multiple people had experienced their Switch randomly turning on and it seemed to hint to the dock being faulty. Both happening simultaneously within such a short window, and in lieu of the previous stuff, definitely freaks me out though. And it doesn’t explain the blinds moving, or the iHome brightening up, or what she felt in the air.
What can we do? I’ve seen way too many scary movies so my anxiety is pretty high right now, so I could just use some direction. Any direction. If not for my sake, for hers. Please help!
