Last night I was lying in bed wide awake- attempting to sleep. I heard my daughter’s voice outside my door say “Mama” about three times. I waited a moment to see if she’d go back to bed. After a few minutes, I hear her blanket ringing outside the door (it has a bell in it).
So, I got up and went out to see what she needed. When I opened the door, no one was there. I was a little taken aback. I looked in the kitchen and living room and didn’t see her. At this point, I wasn’t really alarmed.
I looked down the hall and there she is. She walked into her room. It was her exact silhouette- Black and shadowy but her. I followed and went into her room, and she was completely asleep tucked into her bed. Blankets over her, stuffed animals all around her, no signs of ever getting up.
Scared the bejesus out of me when I realized t couldn’t have been her that I heard and saw.
Also, this is my first reddit post and I cannot get my post to show paragraphs. It shows paragraphs when I’m typing it up but when I post they aren’t there. I’ve tried double space then enter twice (Reddit recommendation) and it’s not working.
