My mother in law may she rest in peace passed away from cancer in 2017 a year and a half earlier we are all asleep in the house we shared my father in law was pretty much on his last leg from old age well one night my wife and I are both woken up at about 3:45 in the morning by screaming outside only to see my wife's mother running from something we both go outside to see what's going on. She swore up and down that there was a dark figure on the roof keeping her from going back in . I've seen my share of some pretty weird stuff in my time ranging from weird creatures to strange happenings around my town (it's a small town in Alabama). Pops passed and things got worse. From things being thrown by no one to disembodied voices around the property and it just stops. Then mom passed two days after my own brother died of a heart attack (he was only 33 ) a little time passes and I become obsessed with the paranormal from ghosts to demons to cryptids I was at the old house cleaning and I start getting this uneasy feeling and decide to take out my voice recorder and emf reader and start playing around asking stupid questions like who's here besides me ,nothing came through then I ask a question of who was it that drove my mother in law mad guys I shit you not something came through and it's answer sent chills down my spine a growling voice came through and answered, it was me .just as I heard this I look up and there are handprints on the kitchen window note that nobody had been in this house for almost six months be hind the hand prints I see what I can only describe as a freakishly distorted smile like you would see on the joker in dc comics . I can't andx won't step foot in that house alone I came to Reddit for serious advice.does anyone know a being like this ? What do i do ? Its gone so far now that my wife recently started waking up at 3:45 every weekend like clock work and she's startedd becoming more I'll with me over the past couple of months. Please help guys and ladies
