A gift from my aunt

Yesterday I attended a symposium on grieving after a death. I attended to gather more information for my role at work, but my auntie that passed away in 2014 was on my mind the entire time. So the presenter eventually says "we have some door prizes that we will now give away. Check your ticket numbers" and starts reading numbers off (total of 10 winners in a room of about 80-100 people). People from my table win and I think "If I won something it would be like a gift from my auntie" (seeing as i was thinking about her the ENTIRE time. And guess what! As soon as i thought that my number gets called! I won a $25 gift card. It wasn't huge but I just knew she made that happen to acknowledge that I was in her "thoughts" as well. I felt her presence. When I cashed in the gift card (right after the event) i used it to get a $25 shawl. Funny thing is it is something she would have gifted me.
